I don't use AI anymore.
I work inside it.
For a while it felt like a tool. Open it, ask, get an answer, close it. This week was different. I had two AI sessions running: one plans and keeps the list, one builds what is decided, and they talk to each other. I sit above both and say one word at a time. Go. Push. Pick B.
At some point it stopped feeling like software and started feeling like a place I was standing in.
That is hard to explain to someone who has not felt it. It is not about which tool or which model. It is about depth. How far in do you let it go? Once you are that far in, something changes about how you think and how you build. You stop reaching for AI and start thinking through it.
I do not have this figured out. For years the bottleneck in my work was me: everything had to pass through my hands. This week that bottleneck moved, and not in a way I planned.
So the question I am leaving myself with, and maybe you too: not which AI you use. How deep you are willing to go.
