Apple still cares about the invisible work

Apple released a new logo intro. They spent ten days creating it by hand. Most companies would use AI or a quick tool. Apple chose the harder path. It reminded me of something Steve Jobs said. The inside of a computer should look as good as the outside. Even if most people never see it.

Apple released a new logo intro. They spent ten days creating it by hand.

Most companies would use AI or a quick tool. Apple chose the harder path.

It reminded me of something Steve Jobs said. The inside of a computer should look as good as the outside. Even if most people never see it.

Because the work you do when no one is watching shapes the work everyone will see.

The interesting part is how Apple shows the process. They share the craft, the details, the thinking. That is the genius.

If they kept it hidden, only they would know. By making it visible, they make the value visible.

Maybe it is a strategy. Maybe it is culture. Probably both. But it feels like a direct line back to Jobs. A belief that quality matters everywhere. Even in the places no one looks.

And that is a great reminder for all of us who build things today.
